Senior Software Engineer, Android Ecosystem

📋 Description

• Create and enhance features and workflows within the Unity Editor tailored for specific Android platform configurations.

• Analyze, profile, and pinpoint optimization opportunities throughout the technology stack.

• Work collaboratively across teams to devise and implement runtime and platform optimization strategies.

• Set performance benchmarks and perform thorough performance analyses of the Unity Engine.

• Produce detailed technical documentation.

• Actively engage in design review sessions.

• Investigate and address bug reports to maintain platform stability.

• Enhance quality and delivery through automation testing and careful code reviews.

• Promote innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in Android systems programming.

• High-level expertise in C++, C#, and Java/Kotlin.

• Background in building and sustaining platform or runtime systems.

• In-depth understanding of large-scale applications utilizing multiple programming languages, including synchronous/asynchronous calls, memory ownership, and marshalling.

• Experience in designing and implementing scalable feature sets within a large multithreaded codebase.

• Proficient diagnostic, debugging, and performance profiling skills.

• Knowledge of real-time 3D rendering techniques and modern graphics APIs, including Vulkan.

• Adequate English skills for effective professional verbal and written communication.

• Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality software on a large scale.
