This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.
• Create and develop an Android application focused on user engagement.
• Expand and enhance experiences for hunters within the Hunt team.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers from various teams to ensure smooth integration of services.
• Participate in making architectural decisions.
• Write unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coverage across the team's projects.
• Design, construct, and assess A/B experiments.
• Integrate and improve AI as a consistent co-pilot in daily tasks.
• Take responsibility for your work and collaborate with partners throughout the organization.
• Report to the Engineering Manager of the Hunt team.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least four (4) years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Capability to assess technologies and solutions based on merit, stability, performance, and debuggability.
• Skilled in writing maintainable, well-tested, and understandable code.
• Experience with Continuous Integration.
• Permanent US work authorization is required as a condition of employment.
• Willingness to occasionally travel for multiple days to a corporate office or other strategic onX locations.
• Strong sense of ownership, customer advocacy, curiosity for new technologies including AI, and a hypothesis-driven, metrics-oriented approach.
