Mobile Frontend Developer – Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve mobile features that are integrated with the client's other applications.

• Engage in native Android development utilizing Kotlin.

• Create responsive, fluid interfaces that comply with the established UX/UI standards for the product.

• Build reusable components within a modular and pluggable architecture.

• Implement components and user journeys utilizing Server-Driven UI concepts.

• Interpret configurations and contracts provided by the backend for dynamic rendering of interfaces.

• Connect mobile applications with backend APIs and services.

• Manage state, implement caching, local persistence, and ensure information synchronization.

• Set up error handling for service unavailability and connectivity issues.

• Guarantee the performance, stability, and fluidity of user journeys.

• Apply mobile development security practices, considering the context of a financial institution.

• Create unit and integration tests and assist with automated testing strategies.

• Take part in code reviews and help define technical standards.

• Collaborate with Backend, Architecture, QA, Product Owner, and UX/UI teams.

• Aid in the ongoing evolution of mobile architecture and shared components.

• Support observability, monitoring, and application failure analysis strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing native mobile applications.

• Proficiency in Android: Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views.

• Familiarity with mobile architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar methodologies.

• Experience with REST API integration.

• Understanding of JSON and data serialization/deserialization processes.

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and concurrency management techniques.

• Awareness of mobile application modularization concepts.

• Proficient in Git and version control methodologies.

• Experience with unit and automated testing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes applied to mobile development.

• Understanding of Android application lifecycle principles.

• Knowledge of Google platform development and user experience guidelines.

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect is advantageous.

• Knowledge of JWT and secure token management is a plus.

• Understanding of secure information storage on devices is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Android Keystore is a plus.

• Knowledge of certificate pinning is a plus.

• Understanding of biometric authentication is advantageous.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices is a plus.

• Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Application Security is a plus.

• Experience in digital banking, fintech, or payment solutions.

• Experience with Server-Driven UI.

• Familiarity with Super Apps.

• Understanding of modular and pluggable architectures.

• Experience with high-scale, business-critical applications.

• Knowledge of feature flags and remote configuration.

• Experience with observability and monitoring of mobile applications.
