This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Design and implement multi-step agentic systems for KYB, underwriting, case review, and risk monitoring processes.
• Create agent graphs using LangGraph or similar frameworks, ensuring explicit state management, durable execution, retries, and secure fallbacks.
• Develop and strengthen retrieval layers by employing chunking techniques, hybrid search, re-ranking, and grounded citation across financial and business data.
• Oversee evaluation systems, including golden sets, offline regression suites, LLM-as-judge, online A/B and shadow evaluations, and red-teaming initiatives.
• Integrate agents into production environments utilizing typed tools, MCP servers, and existing decision-making, case management, and crosswalking services.
• Lead production MLOps encompassing deployment, versioning, traffic shaping, cost and latency management, observability, and incident playbooks.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and legal teams to uphold SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, and fair-lending standards.
• Transform vague product concepts into agent designs, prototypes, and deployable features.
• Mentor engineers on agent patterns, prompt engineering best practices, evaluation methodologies, and LLM failure modes.
• Assess emerging models, frameworks, and production methodologies.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of building production LLM or agentic systems (beyond notebooks or demos).
• Strong software engineering background across front-end development, APIs, asynchronous patterns, queues, databases, and understanding the failure modes of distributed systems.
• Proven ownership of significant features or subsystems in a production environment.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring junior engineers and enhancing team quality standards.
• Experienced with event-driven systems, including enrichment, retries, dead-lettering, and backpressure management.
• Proficient in managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, EKS, ArgoCD, operators, and Kustomize.
• Extensive hands-on experience with at least one modern agent framework (LangGraph preferred) and a history of deploying agents that function reliably, fail gracefully, and recover effectively.
• Practical experience with evaluations — including golden sets, both offline and online evaluations, and utilizing these to make ship/no-ship decisions.
• Fluency in production MLOps: deploying LLM workloads while respecting real latency, cost, and reliability constraints, along with instrumenting delivered solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with TypeScript / Node.js for integration with Worth’s services is a plus.
• Effective and clear communicator — capable of articulating agent trade-offs to product, security, and customers without ambiguity.
• Works with a strong sense of ownership in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Enthusiastic about collaborating with a team that champions “One Team,” “Extreme Ownership,” and “Create Raving Fans.”
