This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee technical assessments of innovative AI/ML technologies via prototypes, proof of concepts, and experimentation.
• Evaluate and convey the advantages, trade-offs, and implementation risks of new technologies to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Design, create, and implement production-ready AI/ML applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Facilitate AI/ML application development across various disciplines including development, operations, and security in cloud-native settings.
• Propel enterprise-wide adoption of contemporary AI technologies and engineering best practices.
• Construct, train, assess, and refine machine learning models for practical use cases.
• Work closely with clients and interdisciplinary engineering teams to deliver essential solutions.
• Offer technical guidance by mentoring engineers and aiding in the professional advancement of junior team members.
• Share technical insights, experimental outcomes, and architectural recommendations with internal leadership and federal clients.
• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
• Capability to secure a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 7–10 years of professional experience in software or cloud engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in deploying production enterprise applications on AWS.
• At least 2 years of experience in implementing production AI/ML applications in enterprise settings.
• Strong expertise in Python programming.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms and services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Hugging Face, Weights & Biases, or similar technologies.
• Solid background in data analysis and manipulation utilizing pandas.
• Experience in visualizing and presenting experimental results using tools like matplotlib.
• Proficient in working within AWS cloud environments.
• Ability to swiftly learn new technologies and contribute across multiple projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable delivering technical solutions to clients and executive stakeholders.
