This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create high-quality software solutions in hyperautomation and workflow management utilizing advanced AI tools.
• Assume responsibility for intricate full-stack projects.
• Review SRS documents, resolve outstanding issues with stakeholders, and convert business needs into solid software architectures.
• Design data models and entity-relationship diagrams.
• Specify RESTful and OpenAPI interfaces.
• Formulate security strategies in accordance with OWASP standards, including RBAC, OAuth, and JWT.
• Construct high-performance, scalable applications using both backend and frontend technologies.
• Create unit, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Maintain code quality through thorough code reviews.
• Actively identify security weaknesses such as XSS, SQL injection, and CSRF.
• Deploy applications on self-hosted servers.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Enhance monitoring dashboards.
• Critically assess AI-generated code, pinpoint architectural issues, and enhance performance.
• Effectively communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and present alternative solutions.
• A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a similar qualification, such as vocational training as an IT specialist in application development.
• Several years of hands-on software development experience, evidenced by a portfolio or project references.
• Daily, effective use of AI coding tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and database design (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Senior-level expertise in at least one backend language: Node.js, Python, Go, C#, or Java.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular, with senior-level expertise in at least one.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and contemporary UI/UX patterns.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the OWASP Top 10, including injection, XSS, CSRF, and broken authentication.
• Practical experience with authentication and authorization methods (JWT, OAuth, RBAC, SSO).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Ability to deploy applications on self-hosted servers, in addition to cloud environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
