This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Take ownership of finance workflows from inception to production and continuous enhancement.
• Craft agentic and LLM-oriented systems that integrate extraction, retrieval, reasoning, and tool usage, incorporating human-in-the-loop elements for critical financial decisions.
• Produce design documentation, evaluate build-versus-buy options, and establish success metrics for workflows.
• Collaborate directly with clients and internal finance personnel to identify workflow challenges and determine completion criteria.
• Develop production-ready LLM pipelines that include prompt and context design, structured outputs, validation, fallback mechanisms, and confidence scoring.
• Architect retrieval and RAG components, focusing on chunking, embeddings, vector search, and re-ranking methods.
• Connect AI services with Jeeves's backend through API contracts, implementing retries, graceful degradation, and customer-specific data isolation.
• Supervise model costs and latency management.
• Create evaluation datasets and automated assessment processes; identify regressions when prompts, models, or data undergo changes.
• Equip AI components with logging, tracing, dashboards, and alert systems.
• Preserve an audit trail of AI decisions pertaining to regulated financial products.
• Develop shared AI engineering standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Exhibit effective utilization of coding agents and AI tools to the broader team.

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years focused on building and managing LLM or AI-driven systems in a production environment.
• Proven experience in taking charge of a large system or workflow from scoping and design through to launch and iteration, with minimal guidance.
• Practical experience in deploying LLM-powered applications using APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar, with a focus on structured outputs, error management, and evaluation.
• Proficient in designing agentic or multi-step AI workflows (including tool usage, orchestration, and human review steps), or RAG systems utilizing vector databases like pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
• Strong expertise in Python, along with solid backend skills: REST APIs, PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases, asynchronous patterns, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Regularly employs AI coding agents and tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex) in their development process and can articulate their advantages and limitations.
• Experienced in observability for AI systems, including logging, tracing, dashboards, and quality assurance monitoring.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
