Senior Software Engineer – Agent Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy AI-driven agent systems that streamline internal workflows and decision-making processes.

• Design and execute inference pipelines that analyze user interactions across various internal systems.

• Rapidly prototype to test agent functionalities, subsequently refining valuable solutions for production.

• Create backend services that integrate multiple internal APIs and data sources.

• Establish standards for safe, observable, and controllable agent operations.

• Collaborate across departments to pinpoint high-impact automation opportunities.

• Enhance system performance, dependability, and signal quality as usage expands.

• Contribute to key design decisions for a 0→1 agent platform.

• Partner with product, infrastructure, and internal operations teams.

• Develop internal AI-driven agents that interact directly with company systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and deploying production software systems.

• Solid backend engineering expertise, encompassing APIs, distributed systems, data modeling, and reliability.

• Experience in building fullstack systems, including backend and occasional frontend interfaces.

• Practical knowledge of AI/ML systems, LLMs, or inference pipelines in production environments.

• Capacity to prototype swiftly while ensuring a pathway to production-level architecture.

• Strong systems thinking skills related to orchestration, failure modes, and observability.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguous, 0→1 environments with significant ownership.

• Experience with agent-based systems or autonomous workflows is a plus.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, or model performance optimization (considered a plus).

• Background in integrating with internal enterprise systems such as CRM, support tools, or analytics platforms (considered a plus).

• Experience in developer platforms or internal tooling (considered a plus).

• Knowledge of designing guardrails, sandboxing, or safety measures for AI systems (considered a plus).
