Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality of systems for Akamai's Cloud Platform.

• Develop automation frameworks for deploying microservices.

• Lead significant cloud initiatives with a focus on technical excellence.

• Continuously enhance internal processes and systems.

• Design and create systems that are highly available, scalable, secure, performant, and distributed.

• Create coding and test automation solutions utilizing Python and Golang.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Proficient understanding of systems programming in GNU/Linux.

• Familiarity with networking principles.

• Strong programming abilities in Python or Go.

• Experience with functional and non-functional testing for containers, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, and associated technologies.

• Familiarity with agile work environments.

• Capability to write organized, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Experience using automation tools and frameworks such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Fundamental knowledge of Linux, networking, microservices, and Kubernetes.
