QA Automation Engineer, Playwright, Typescript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, backend services, and third-party integrations.

• Create and implement unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end automated test suites.

• Generate and sustain automated tests for intricate workflows, edge cases, data integrity, and state transitions across services.

• Integrate and oversee automated testing within CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

• Perform performance, scalability, and load testing on core services and infrastructure.

• Identify, document, and monitor bugs, performance concerns, and system vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to enhance QA processes, automation coverage, and testing standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Proficient in designing, constructing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript for automation scripts and test frameworks.

• Practical experience with Playwright.

• Comprehensive understanding of testing best practices, test strategies, software development lifecycles, and contemporary QA methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with containerized environments such as Docker.

• Previous background in fintech, financial services, payments, banking, or other financial technology sectors is highly desirable.

• Strong verbal communication skills in English.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Willingness to work and collaborate with distributed teams during EST hours.
