Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and enhance scalable performance testing frameworks and automated benchmarking suites for distributed cloud computing environments.

• Design, implement, and carry out automated regression, load, stress, and performance tests for software applications, infrastructure, and newly integrated server hardware.

• Set performance baselines, hardware validation standards, acceptance criteria, and performance thresholds for global compute fleet deployments.

• Monitor and verify SLAs, latency goals, system throughput, and infrastructure performance to pinpoint bottlenecks and guarantee platform reliability.

• Construct, scale, and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, regression, and performance validation.

• Work closely with software developers, SREs, and datacenter teams to enhance testing frameworks, resolve performance challenges, and improve system quality.

• Identify testing requirements, develop innovative solutions, and refine testing workflows.

• Profound knowledge and understanding of high-level hardware and software performance goals.

• Proficient in data analysis techniques for intricate performance telemetry.

• Capability to construct predictive capacity models and deliver actionable technical insights.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience with Go programming language.

• Linux/Bash scripting skills for backend automation, system tools, and testing suites.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps integration.

• Experience using Jenkins for pipeline scaling.

• Advanced knowledge of Git workflows.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems.

• Experience leveraging AI to expedite development tasks.
