Senior Software Development Engineer, C++/Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create software for networking devices utilizing C/C++ and Python.

• Engage in BSP, control plane, and data plane development activities.

• Design automated testing solutions for networking products using Python and Pytest.

• Conduct software and hardware bring-up, integration, and debugging tasks.

• Develop and uphold networking features, protocols, and associated software components.

• Evaluate network traffic and resolve networking and software challenges.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on software development, testing, and integration efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing software for networking devices like routers and switches.

• Proficient in C/C++ and Python programming languages.

• Familiarity with BSP, control plane, or data plane development.

• Experience in creating automated tests using Python and Pytest.

• Knowledge of software and hardware bring-up and integration processes.

• Strong grasp of networking principles, including routing, forwarding, VLANs, TCP/IP, and UDP.

• Experience with networking technologies and protocols such as LACP, ECMP, ACLs, SPAN/RSPAN/ERSPAN, BGP, OSPF, RIP, and IS-IS.

• Proficient with networking testing and analysis tools like Scapy, traffic generators, and traffic analyzers.

• Experience with Git/GitHub and Linux-based environments.

• Your CV should clearly demonstrate relevant experience in networking, C/C++, Python, BSP, control plane/data plane, and test automation.
