Senior Software Development Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement advanced applications powered by language models for enterprise use cases.

• Create text-based reasoning systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and scalable frameworks for prompt engineering.

• Improve decision-making, automation, and knowledge discovery throughout the organization.

• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to convert business needs into dependable, explainable, and production-ready AI solutions.

• Develop enterprise AI capabilities.

• Ensure solutions are secure, responsible, and optimized for real-world performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of software engineering best practices.

• Practical experience in building production-grade AI/ML systems.

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and APIs.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including training, evaluation, overfitting, and bias.

• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

• Practical experience in prompt engineering and optimization.

• Experience with embeddings and vector search.

• Background in designing and implementing APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.

• Familiarity with model evaluation techniques and performance metrics.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities in complex systems.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferred: experience with LLM platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Vertex AI.

• Preferred: familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar tools.

• Preferred: experience using vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or MongoDB Atlas Vector Search.

• Preferred: knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for AI systems.

• Preferred: experience deploying solutions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Preferred: exposure to agent-based architectures or multi-step AI workflows.

• Preferred: experience in financial services enterprise environments or similar data-intensive industries.

• Preferred: experience with LLM evaluation frameworks and benchmarking.
