Senior Software Developer – SDLC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a technical advisor for client teams, aiding in decisions regarding architecture, development, and the evolution of the SDLC.

• Tailor and implement Flow offerings to align with the technical context of each project.

• Recognize opportunities to leverage AI to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency in software development.

• Facilitate the adoption of AI Coding tools and AI-assisted development methodologies.

• Create and improve software solutions within production environments.

• Assist in initiatives for technology modernization, architecture, and platform evolution.

• Mentor software developers while advocating for engineering best practices and the effective use of AI.

• Evaluate the outcomes of solution adoption and contribute to fostering team autonomy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development and managing applications in production settings.

• Comprehensive understanding of the SDLC, covering development, testing, deployment, operations, and maintenance.

• Experience with Generative AI and large language models (LLMs) in the context of software development.

• Practical experience in AI Coding, including code generation, testing, documentation, or automating development activities using AI.

• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering and best practices for engaging with LLMs.

• Knowledge of AI Agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and various LLM models and providers.

• Experience in the architecture and development of distributed applications.

• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, Python, .NET, or other contemporary backend languages.

• Experience with APIs, integration processes, and database management.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, automated testing, and automation strategies.

• Excellent communication skills, technical influence, and a consultative mindset.

• Advanced proficiency in English for both written and verbal communication.

• Preferred: experience with Agentic SDLC or AI agent-assisted development methodologies.

• Preferred: knowledge of Spec-Driven Development or Contract-First development approaches.

• Preferred: experience in modernizing legacy systems utilizing AI technology.

• Preferred: understanding of containers, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code principles.

• Preferred: experience in observability, security, and performance optimization in distributed systems.

• Preferred: consulting experience or direct involvement in client projects.
