Senior Software Developer – .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage with a platform dedicated to processing and integrating electronic tax documents across corporate systems, SAP, tax service providers, and municipal governments.

• Define and enhance scalable, resilient solutions while taking into account performance, security, cost, complexity, and time to market.

• Assume complete ownership from solution design and development through deployment, monitoring, support, and ongoing improvement.

• Create and refine APIs, microservices, workers, and integrations utilizing .NET and C#.

• Design event-driven solutions for the reliable and asynchronous processing of crucial operations.

• Guarantee delivery quality through automated testing, observability, and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Contribute to the modernization of applications and investigate incidents within distributed environments.

• Translate technical choices and risks into comprehensible business implications.

• Share expertise and assist in the technical advancement of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in backend development using .NET and C#.

• Proficient in REST APIs, microservices, and workers.

• Practical experience with RabbitMQ and/or Kafka, along with event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing.

• Understanding of reliability patterns for distributed systems, including idempotency, retries, and failure management.

• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, encompassing data modeling and query optimization.

• Experience with Entity Framework and/or Dapper.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in automated testing, monitoring, and observability, ideally with Datadog or a similar tool.

• Awareness of security practices for APIs and integrations.

• Experience with highly critical, highly available, or high-volume systems.

• Ability to grasp customer needs and link technical decisions to product outcomes.

• Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

• Preferred: experience with integrating SAP or other ERP systems.

• Preferred: familiarity with NF-e, NFS-e, or other electronic tax documents.

• Preferred: experience with tax service providers, municipal governments, digital certificates, or tax XML processing.

• Preferred: knowledge of Redis or similar distributed caching solutions.

• Preferred: experience with mission-critical distributed systems and high message volumes.

• Preferred: familiarity with tax processes or solutions related to Tax Reform.
