Senior Software Developer, Consumer Apps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Utilize state-of-the-art computer vision technology to create visually impressive 3D experiences for consumers in the home decor sector.

• Lead and manage significant projects and initiatives that align with business objectives from conception to launch.

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.

• Oversee essential systems and components within the front-end architecture, including development, deployment, operations, and continuous enhancements.

• Mentor colleagues and junior team members.

• Provide technical leadership through architectural evaluations, system design discussions, and improvements to team processes and engineering best practices.

• Contribute to shaping the engineering culture.

• Remove obstacles, support, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Mentor candidates and engage in the recruitment process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software development experience in building scalable systems.

• Strong computer science background, either through a degree in computer science or significant professional experience in software development.

• In-depth understanding and experience with TypeScript, React, and NextJS.

• Strong emphasis on product execution and delivery.

• Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to quality and long-term objectives.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proven ability to offer guidance, mentorship, and support.

• Leadership-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative, make decisions, and consistently deliver results.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where learning and adaptability are essential.

• Familiarity with the technology stack is highly preferred but not mandatory.
