Senior Software Developer – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create the software deliverables expected from the Squad.

• Design and maintain APIs, web platforms, and mobile applications.

• Suggest scalable and secure technical solutions that align with business objectives.

• Engage in SCRUM ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Assist the team with the technical breakdown of requirements, estimations, and architectural decision-making.

• Maintain code quality by adhering to Clean Code practices, performing testing, and conducting code reviews.

• Analyze production issues, recommend solutions, and enhance the observability of essential processes.

• Utilize AI tools to expedite code analysis, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, task automation, and overall team productivity.

• Work in collaboration with DevOps and infrastructure teams on pipelines, environments, deployments, and integrations with Azure services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed higher education in Information Technology (undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree).

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer.

• Background in agile development environments.

• Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React at a senior level.

• Practical experience in building and maintaining REST APIs.

• Strong understanding of React Native or a willingness to engage with the project's mobile app.

• Experience with Oracle, including relational modeling, queries, and data migrations.

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and both staging and production environments.

• Experience with SCRUM and working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

• Capability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Excellent technical communication skills, with a high degree of autonomy and ownership of deliverables.

• Preferred: knowledge of Azure (Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Managed Identity).

• Preferred: experience with Playwright and end-to-end testing.

• Preferred: familiarity with mobile applications that utilize cameras, OCR, geolocation, and offline functionality.

• Preferred: understanding of API security, secrets management, and best practices for deployment.

• Preferred: advanced utilization of AI tools in daily development and operational tasks.
