Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, release, and maintain responsive web applications, backend services, APIs, integrations, and data-access components.

• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, estimation, planning, implementation, testing, code reviews, release, production support, and ongoing enhancements.

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, product management, UX, security, and compliance teams to translate business and user requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Influence architecture and design strategies that enhance scalability, reliability, performance, security, privacy, maintainability, and usability.

• Write and review clear, well-tested code, establish reusable engineering patterns, evaluate technical trade-offs, and troubleshoot complex production issues.

• Leverage AI-assisted and agentic development tools to enhance engineering quality, productivity, and delivery speed, while ensuring appropriate validation, security, privacy, and human oversight.

• Proactively identify, assess, and responsibly implement new tools, technologies, and engineering methodologies, including AI and automation, to enhance products, architecture, and software delivery.

• Mentor developers and facilitate onboarding, knowledge sharing, and continuous growth within the engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional software development experience in an Agile, team-oriented setting, including ownership of complex production systems from technical design through release and operational support.

• More than 3 years of experience in developing responsive web applications.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering.

• Proven professional experience using AI-assisted and agentic development tools, with specific examples showcasing enhanced software quality and delivery speed.

• Ability to validate AI-generated outputs, implement appropriate guardrails and human reviews, and utilize AI tools responsibly in secure environments.

• Strong full-stack expertise with C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SASS, or similar modern technologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and sustainable software architecture.

• Experience in designing and maintaining robust APIs and distributed services utilizing service-oriented and event-driven architectural principles.

• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases and Entity Framework Core or a similar ORM framework.

• Experience in shaping architectural and design decisions while working across automated testing, code reviews, release management, and production support.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, microservices, and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.

• Preferred: Mobile or cross-platform development experience with Ionic, Capacitor, or similar technologies.

• Preferred: Experience in creating AI-enabled product features, LLM integrations, agentic workflows, automation frameworks, developer tools, or internal productivity platforms.

• Preferred: Experience in healthcare technology, behavioral health software, EHR systems, or other regulated environments, including familiarity with HIPAA.
