Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement comprehensive features for mobile applications using React Native alongside backend services developed with Node.js.

• Create, maintain, and improve REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Recommend architectural designs, technical standards, and development best practices.

• Perform thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and consistency.

• Offer technical guidance to mid-level and junior developers, promoting team development.

• Enhance the performance, scalability, security, observability, and quality of solutions.

• Engage in technical discussions with a critical, collaborative, and product-focused approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have completed a degree in a technology-related field such as Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.

• Experience in software development, particularly on projects of medium to high complexity.

• Strong understanding of backend and/or mobile application development.

• Proven experience in building and integrating APIs.

• Solid grasp of software engineering best practices.

• Familiarity with version control systems.

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies.

• Experience working within agile project management frameworks.

• Extensive experience in developing mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript, including proficiency in React Hooks and Context API for state management.

• Background in backend development utilizing Node.js and/or Express.

• Experience in building and integrating APIs leveraging GraphQL, Apollo Client, and Apollo Server.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Redis.

• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD processes, and unit testing practices.

• Experience with observability tools like Datadog.

• Familiarity with AI tools used in software development, such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot, is advantageous.

• Additional training, certifications, or courses in generative AI, automation, or productivity in software engineering are beneficial.

• Experience in high-scale e-commerce environments is a plus.

• Knowledge in analytics, event tracking, and tagging is beneficial.

• Understanding of resolver optimization techniques.

• Experience in log structuring and analysis.

• Familiarity with generative AI technologies.

• Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, and Gemini.

• Skills in prompt engineering.
