Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with federal personnel to deliver management, engineering, and technical services.

• Facilitate the complete transition of client networks and applications from IPv4 to IPv6.

• Create software solutions by analyzing information needs, user requirements, system flows, data utilization, and work processes.

• Examine problem areas and adhere to the software development lifecycle.

• Assess analysis, problem definitions, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

• Document and showcase solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and well-structured code.

• Prepare and implement solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

• Enhance operations through systems analysis and recommendations for policy and procedure improvements.

• Stay updated on development tools, programming techniques, and computing hardware.

• Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service-related issues.

• Plan and lead significant technology assignments, evaluate performance outcomes, recommend adjustments, serve as a technical expert across multiple projects, and potentially supervise others.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

• Capability to obtain Public Trust and EOD clearances.

• Proficient in a technical consultant role, with the ability to lead technical discussions and work plans.

• Experience in managing intricate networking projects.

• Competence to participate in and recommend IPv6 software solutions related to cloud technology.

• Ability to analyze and implement software modifications to facilitate IPv6.

• Experience in designing, developing, and executing automated workflows for networking deployments.

• Certifications are highly preferred: CCNA Automation; Red Hat Certified Engineer in Ansible; AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
