Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain secure, efficient, and high-throughput services utilizing cloud technology.

• Collaborate with product managers, product owners, software architects, and other stakeholders to transform requirements into iterative product improvements.

• Contribute to the design and architecture of software using cloud design patterns.

• Create infrastructure that can function effectively at scale.

• Execute unit, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Enhance team processes and the quality of deliverables.

• Accurately and thoroughly document and present concepts and solutions.

• Engage in on-call rotations to support production systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.

• Over 4 years of experience in Software Development, focusing on building enterprise-level cloud services.

• Strong grasp of cloud-based architecture and microservices.

• Proficiency in AWS services and technologies, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.

• Excellent skills in Java, JavaScript, C#, and frameworks like Spring Boot, Node.js, and .NET.

• Knowledge of security principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in AWS, including SOC-2 compliance.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining automated testing procedures.

• Familiarity with monitoring backend performance and making optimizations for scalability, response times, and resource use.

• Previous experience in an Agile work environment is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
