Senior Site Planner – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning and installation processes for proton therapy systems and associated product platforms.

• Act as the primary technical liaison for customer architects, engineers, and design teams from the initial feasibility stage to the construction documentation phase.

• Collaborate with Sales to assess potential sites, evaluate infrastructure readiness, and assist in preliminary layout and feasibility analyses.

• Create and review site layouts, equipment plans, architectural designs, and technical documentation throughout the schematic design, design development, and construction stages.

• Work alongside mechanical, electrical, controls, shielding, and other engineering teams to incorporate system requirements into customer facility designs.

• Detect design conflicts, site limitations, compliance issues, and project risks, collaborating cross-functionally to address concerns prior to installation.

• Carry out customer site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions, confirm design specifications, and suggest corrective measures.

• Engage in coordination meetings with customers, architects, engineers, contractors, Sales, and internal project teams.

• Create and update site planning guides, drawing standards, installation prerequisites, templates, and tools to enhance technical document and construction reviews.

• Assist in the transition from Site Planning to Project Execution while providing technical insights on site-specific requirements, facility limitations, infrastructure planning, and future product integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in site planning, architectural/engineering coordination, construction design, or technical planning for intricate capital equipment or infrastructure projects.

• Familiarity with coordinating facility systems, including high-voltage electrical, HVAC, structural, and IT infrastructure.

• Prior experience in healthcare, radiation oncology, or medical device installation is highly preferred.

• Experience in developing and reviewing construction documents, with proficiency in both metric and imperial measurements.

• Expertise in AutoCAD and/or Revit, along with an understanding of building codes and construction documentation practices.

• Capability to convert technical engineering requirements into clear site, architectural, and infrastructure criteria.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working across customers, architects, engineers, contractors, Sales, and project teams.

• Competence in managing multiple site planning projects in a dynamic environment, with a willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
