Senior Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assess the network and system requirements of organizations

• Install both operating systems and application software

• Set up and configure Axway API Management solutions in high-availability AWS Cloud, Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker environments

• Ensure secure API traffic routing that adheres to enterprise architecture guidelines

• Design and set up MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Apache Cassandra database environments

• Deploy APIs across cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, and legacy systems

• Lead upgrades of the Axway platform

• Continuously enhance client environments while ensuring stability and interoperability

• Utilize Datadog and Splunk for monitoring API health

• Design AI workflow solutions using Amplify Fusion

• Create secure and compliant integrations between AI agents and essential business applications

• Deliver formal training to clients and provide informal mentorship

• Deploy and oversee Amplify Engage for federated API governance across multi-cloud environments

• Centralize API catalogs, onboard developer communities, and enforce compliance standards across the enterprise

• Report to the headquarters located in Scottsdale, AZ

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and Management, or a related field

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

• Administration of operating systems and applications in Windows or Linux environments

• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools, including source control, build systems, issue tracking, and requirements management

• Experience in web API development utilizing SOAP, XML, REST, and JSON

• Proficiency in REST-based API testing

• Database administration and management experience with Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra

• Knowledge of cloud and container-based technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Understanding of web communication technologies including HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and X509 standards

• Awareness of web application security and federated identity standards including SAML, WS-Fed, WS-Trust, OAuth, OpenID, and XACML

• Must have some level of experience in each skill area listed
