Senior ServiceNow Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to gain insight into implementation details and define the scope of release capabilities.

• Develop test procedures, cases, and data that support user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Execute test cases and procedures within the test environment.

• Work alongside Developers and Architects to address any test defects.

• Ensure that bugs identified during testing, including those found in the Government Acceptance Test, are resolved in a timely manner.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, such as standups, planning, grooming, and demonstrations.

• Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, utilizing ServiceNow test management.

• Clearly articulate and demonstrate requirements and technical configurations to the Product Owner.

• Provide support for production issues and collaborate with the O&M team to resolve them.

• Develop and maintain a regression test suite.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Over 7 years of experience as a Test Engineer in an Agile development environment.

• Possess or be able to obtain a Security+ or equivalent certification.

• ServiceNow CSA certification is mandatory.

• Experience with ServiceNow / Rest API integration, including requirements gathering, test development, and management.

• Proficient in ServiceNow test management, test execution, and the development of test scripts and procedures.

• Experience with ATF is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• Familiarity with the ServiceNow HAM and/or WSD modules.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen to qualify for DoD Secret security clearance.

• Ability to work from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday, excluding Government Holidays.
