This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Develop and tailor ServiceNow applications, encompassing ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Design Business Rules, Script Includes, and various custom scripts to streamline processes and fulfill business requirements.
• Connect ServiceNow with other systems utilizing REST, SOAP, and web services.
• Conduct user and role management, system maintenance, and health assessments.
• Modify user interfaces, forms, and workflows to enhance usability.
• Deliver end-user support and troubleshoot integrated processes and platform functionalities.
• Define and produce reports, dashboards, and data analysis products in collaboration with end users, stakeholders, and management.
• Engage in technical process reviews, postmortems, and ongoing process enhancements.
• Maintain current ServiceNow and industry certifications while pursuing additional credentials.
• Technical training, certifications, or a degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules.
• Familiarity with SOAP, REST, and web services, including the creation and consumption of these services.
• Proficient scripting skills in at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript.
• Experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps, and the CMDB.
• Ability to assess requirements, troubleshoot issues, and devise technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile software testing from smoke testing through to integration testing and production deployment.
• Capability to identify, understand, document, and develop functionality in alignment with customer value streams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced software development environment.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
• Capacity to drive methodological changes, manage customer deliverables, and resolve process challenges.
• Competence to communicate as a technical authority and contribute to proposals and technical specifications.
• Ability to lead Scrum demonstrations, work groups, and team initiatives.
• Proficient in collaborating with and influencing stakeholders, mentoring junior team members, and supporting staff development.
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification is required.
• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance or DOE "Q" Access Authorization.
