This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and tailor ServiceNow applications, including ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Design Business Rules and Script Includes to streamline processes and fulfill business needs.
• Connect ServiceNow with other platforms utilizing REST, SOAP, and associated technologies.
• Handle user and role management, perform system upkeep, and conduct health assessments.
• Modify user interfaces, forms, and workflows to enhance user experience.
• Offer end-user assistance and resolve issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality.
• Define and generate reports, dashboards, and data analysis tools in collaboration with end users, stakeholders, and management.
• Engage in technical process evaluations, postmortems, and ongoing process enhancement.
• Keep up-to-date with current ServiceNow and industry certifications while pursuing additional credentials.
• Contribute to essential government projects and technical documentation.
• Travel is limited to less than 10%.
• Technical training, certifications, or a degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Proven experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules.
• Familiarity with SOAP, REST, web services, and both creating and utilizing integrations.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Import Sets, Transform Maps, and CMDB.
• Capability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot problems, and devise technical solutions.
• Understanding of Agile software testing methodologies from smoke testing through integration and production deployment.
• Ability to document and create functionalities that align with customer value streams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills within a fast-paced software development environment.
• Quick adaptability to new technologies.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
• Competence in driving methodology changes, managing customer deliverables, and resolving process-related issues.
• Capability to act as a technical authority and contribute to proposals and technical specifications.
• Ability to lead Scrum demos, workgroups, and team initiatives.
• Skill in collaborating with and influencing stakeholders, mentoring junior team members, and aiding staff development.
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification is required.
• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance or DOE Q Access Authorization.
