This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and create innovative solutions that address government challenges.
• Construct persuasive business cases and aid in investment decisions for new products and services.
• Propel growth initiatives in both existing and new international markets.
• Assist in the development and commercialization of revenue assurance, customs valuation control, anti-illicit trade, track & trace, tax stamp, risk management, intelligence, trade facilitation, customs modernization, and digital government solutions.
• Support complex projects involving governments, customs authorities, and revenue agencies.
• Contribute to tender strategies and significant international bids.
• Establish relationships with public-sector stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with regional commercial teams to accelerate growth opportunities.
• Work alongside commercial, operational, regulatory, and technology functions.
• Represent SGS at international conferences, government meetings, and industry forums.
• Serve as a thought leader on topics related to anti-fraud, customs, taxation, and trade facilitation.
• 7+ years of experience in tax, customs, trade facilitation, anti-fraud, or government advisory environments.
• Strong understanding of customs, taxation, border management, or revenue assurance ecosystems.
• Proven track record of driving innovation across products, services, and business models to enhance unique value propositions.
• Experience in business development, client engagement, commercial strategy, or sales activities.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior government stakeholders.
• Experience working in international and multicultural settings.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to create and grow businesses.
• Experience in anti-fraud solutions, illicit trade prevention, or revenue assurance is highly desirable.
• Experience in customs modernization, digital government, or tax transformation projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with public tenders and government procurement processes is highly desirable.
• Exposure to African markets is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in French is highly desirable.
• Experience in product development or go-to-market strategies is highly desirable.
• Contribute to programs that have a direct impact on national economies and public revenues.
• Collaborate with governments across multiple continents.
