This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Assume complete responsibility for key domains within the Spanish market.
• Develop and implement annual sitewide optimization strategies, domain recovery action plans, and OKR-level initiatives.
• Serve as the SEO project owner, ensuring timely delivery of measurable outcomes within the defined scope.
• Oversee SEO workstreams for extensive website relaunches and migrations.
• Evaluate existing architecture, map domains and URLs, plan redirects, establish navigation/footer strategies, and perform pre-launch crawlability assessments.
• Create site architectures and internal linking strategies informed by traffic and referring-domain data.
• Optimize commercial pages, including homepages, bonus, payments, live/instant-withdrawal, and no-registration pages.
• Plan and initiate content hubs and sections, tracking post-launch performance.
• Conduct weekly ranking assessments, monthly performance reports, competitor analysis, and operator monitoring.
• Enhance E-E-A-T signals through expert author profiles, author-page evaluations, review methodologies, and trust pages.
• Design and execute SEO experiments centered on AI Search and Google Search Console AI functionalities.
• Leverage LLM agents and coding assistants integrated with Ahrefs, Search Console, rank trackers, internal tools, and WordPress for automation of monitoring, audits, briefings, and quality assurance.
• Resolve technical and on-page WordPress issues while coordinating fixes with the technical team.
• Establish and manage rank tracking and reporting for the Spanish/LATAM portfolio.
• Assess underperforming or dormant domains to drive decisions on rebuilding or repurposing.
• Draft briefs for content, design, and development teams, and conduct final quality assurance prior to go-live.
• Collaborate with Off-Page SEO, Product, and Content teams.
• Present roadmaps, results, and recommendations to market leadership.
• Act as the SEO representative in cross-team decisions.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in On-page and technical SEO.
• Experience in iGaming or affiliate marketing is essential.
• Proven experience managing at least one domain from strategy through execution to results.
• Demonstrated leadership of the SEO workstream for at least one complete site relaunch or migration.
• A track record of measurable success in rankings, traffic, launched sections, or migrations.
• Native-level proficiency in Spanish and excellent command of English.
• In-depth knowledge of the Spanish and LATAM search markets and their regulatory frameworks.
• Strong technical SEO expertise, including crawlability, indexation, structured data, and lastmod/sitemap hygiene.
• Proficient in debugging within WordPress.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, enterprise rank trackers, crawlers, and internal tracking/reporting tools.
• Regular hands-on use of LLM tools and agents like Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or similar.
• Concrete examples of time saved or quality improved through AI-driven workflows.
• Comfort with terminal operations, APIs/MCP integrations, and basic scripting in bash, Python, or WP-CLI is highly advantageous.
• Strong skills in internal linking and site architecture, supported by data.
• Solid understanding of E-E-A-T and content quality indicators for affiliate sites.
• Up-to-date knowledge and experimentation with AI Search tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude, and Perplexity.
• Ability to produce clear briefings and concise reports for stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-directed, and dependable approach to work.
• Experience in mentoring or guiding junior SEOs is a significant advantage.
