Senior SEO, AEO Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of technical SEO enhancements directly within WordPress, focusing on indexing, crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and schema.

• Conduct technical audits and spearhead migrations, redesigns, or international SEO projects.

• Develop Venn’s SEO and AEO strategy from the ground up, encompassing keyword architecture, content priorities, and a roadmap centered on pipeline focus.

• Monitor Venn’s visibility across AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and other AI-driven search platforms.

• Modify content, crawlability, and structured data to secure citations in AI-driven search environments.

• Collaborate with the BDR team and sales to transform customer calls and feedback into keyword targets, content angles, and page-level messaging.

• Oversee and maintain Venn’s SEO toolset.

• Report on organic performance utilizing business metrics such as pipeline influence, rankings, and traffic.

• Liaise with marketing and work closely with sales and the BDR team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5+ years of practical SEO experience, either in-house, agency, or a combination of both.

• Proficient in WordPress, with the ability to independently resolve technical issues.

• Strong foundational knowledge in technical SEO aspects such as crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and site architecture.

• A genuine interest in AI search and AEO, along with insights into its future direction.

• Capability to manage a function from start to finish while working autonomously.

• Confidence in collaborating across functions with sales and BDRs.

• Skill in extracting insights from customer interactions.

• Excellent communication abilities, with the talent to convey SEO concepts in business terms.

• Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog.

• An example of a technical SEO fix completed independently will be requested during the application process.

• If available, an example of an SEO strategy or function developed from scratch will be requested.
