This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the organic search strategy for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Comprehend each client's objectives, needs, market standing, and potential opportunities.
• Strategize and oversee the execution of GEO tactics.
• Convert client insights into coherent work programs.
• Brief the Content and Writing teams, ensuring that work remains aligned with client goals.
• Determine when to uphold or adjust established strategies and communicate the rationale to clients.
• Participate in client calls to showcase strategy, clarify performance, and suggest actionable steps.
• Leverage proprietary AI-search technology to pinpoint suitable tasks for clients.
• Offer insights on tool performance and assist in its enhancement.
• Track client performance and proactively initiate optimizations.
• Identify pages that are underperforming, competitor shifts, and changes in AI-engine citations.
• Assist the sales team with strategic data and analysis for potential clients.
• Execute minor content updates and assess existing pages.
• Address ad hoc client inquiries and requests.
• Conduct comprehensive site technical SEO audits, CRO audits, and similar strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to refining the strategic playbook, tools, and processes.
• A minimum of 4–5 years of experience in SEO, organic search strategy, or a comparable client-facing strategic role.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• A critical eye for data and processes.
• Confidence in making clear recommendations based on incomplete data.
• Capability to swiftly learn unfamiliar B2B and SaaS subjects.
• Skill in translating commercial objectives into an effective search-work program.
• Practical experience with technical SEO audits and CRO is a significant advantage.
• Working knowledge of GEO.
• A genuine interest in understanding AI search mechanisms.
• Solid foundational knowledge of organic search principles.
• A strong desire to learn and an openness to approaching challenges from different angles.
• Ability to act swiftly.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Capability to identify gaps in processes or systems and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Basecamp, Google Meet, Slack, email, and video conferencing.
• Availability for meetings between 9am–5pm GMT, with occasional calls outside these hours.
• Confident, evidence-based communication skills.
