This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Evaluate and analyze supply chain attacks.
• Examine and dissect malware.
• Develop open-source tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scan and safeguard users and organizations globally from emerging cyber threats.
• Contribute to shaping the future direction of the company.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Researcher, focusing on supply-chain attacks and malware analysis.
• Knowledge of open-source registry ecosystems (such as npm, PyPI, Maven) and their associated attack surfaces.
• Demonstrated capability to deliver software in a production environment.
• In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contemporary CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to enhance research and development workflows.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the capacity to take complete ownership of projects.
• Active participation in open-source security tools or research initiatives.
• Practical experience with decompilers, debuggers, and network traffic analysis.
• Expertise in advanced malware analysis techniques (including obfuscation, encryption, anti-analysis, and sandbox evasion).
• Experience in web application penetration testing.
• Contributions to published CVEs, coordinated disclosures, write-ups, blogs, or research articles.
• Public speaking experience at prominent industry conferences (e.g., Black Hat, DEFCON, RSAC).
• A genuine enthusiasm for cybersecurity, open-source communities, and addressing complex ecosystem threats.
