This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead Delinea’s Enterprise Security initiative and manage the SAE, SOC, and IAM teams.
• Establish direction and hold functional managers accountable for their roadmaps, staffing, and performance metrics.
• Drive the strategy for cross-functional security and prioritize initiatives.
• Provide advisory support to executive leadership regarding business risks related to security.
• Disseminate security best practices throughout the organization.
• Implement and sustain controls that align with compliance and regulatory standards.
• Define roadmaps for security architecture, secure designs, and enhancements to architecture.
• Identify threats and vulnerabilities within the current architecture.
• Collaborate with business units to convert requirements into effective security solutions.
• Oversee proactive monitoring and incident response, including analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery procedures.
• Establish cyber resilience and evaluate readiness for cybersecurity crisis events.
• Define and implement the enterprise IAM roadmap along with a long-term vision.
• Ensure that IAM architecture, compliance enforcement, and identity governance effectively mitigate risks.
• Manage and develop the leadership and staff within the security team.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor risks and assess the effectiveness of the security program.
• Foster relationships with senior leaders and support project and operational objectives through data analysis.
• Report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
• Extensive knowledge of the current security landscape and best practices within the industry.
• Proven ability to resolve complex cybersecurity issues that protect enterprises and products using a risk-based approach.
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling comprehensive Cybersecurity programs.
• Proven capability in creating a multi-team security organization, ideally overseeing architecture, operations, and identity through direct reports.
• Experience managing a SOC function led by a dedicated manager across various time zones.
• Experience supervising IAM capabilities, including MFA, single sign-on, privileged access, certificate management, and secrets management.
• Experience in establishing and/or directing Security Architecture and Engineering, securing endpoints, identity, email, cloud, data, and networks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise security, security operations, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience in senior information security leadership roles.
• Familiarity with GRC frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC2, SOX, FedRAMP, and GDPR.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong business acumen and a commercial perspective.
• Minimal travel required (<5%).
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or similar credentials.
• Strong grasp of cybersecurity services, frameworks, risk management principles, and industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and GDPR.
