Head of Information Security – Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Frontera's cloud security architecture and posture on AWS, focusing on IAM design.

• Lead and manage SOC 2 audits for AWS infrastructure, including hands-on audit responsibilities.

• Develop and enhance Frontera's compliance program tailored for enterprise and healthcare clients.

• Act as the primary security representative in discussions with customers and prospects.

• Communicate the security and compliance status to customers, partners, and the board.

• Collaborate with Engineering to integrate security into the development process.

• Establish the security and compliance function from the ground up, encompassing policy, processes, and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in security and compliance.

• Practical experience conducting SOC 2 audits on AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Direct experience in IAM architecture.

• Relevant cloud security certification(s).

• Experience participating in security assessments directly with prospects or customers.

• Strong understanding of enterprise needs and the ability to serve as a senior security authority in front of customers, partners, and boards.
