Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain intricate integrations and automation processes.

• Create SailPoint rules and workflows.

• Maintain a scalable and secure identity architecture throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with IAM leadership, cybersecurity, HRIS, infrastructure, and application teams.

• Design, implement, and manage SailPoint Rules, custom workflows, transforms, policies, and identity processing logic.

• Construct and enhance provisioning workflows, lifecycle event logic, and identity orchestration.

• Design and uphold custom connectors, integration logic, and advanced SailPoint configurations.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to provisioning, aggregation, and connector failures.

• Lead the onboarding of new applications into SailPoint, which includes schema discovery, connector engineering, entitlement modeling, provisioning/deprovisioning logic, and aggregation job optimization.

• Develop and support SCIM, REST API, SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC integrations.

• Engineer identity data flows between SailPoint, AD, Entra ID, HRIS, EMR systems, and cloud platforms.

• Create automation using PowerShell, BeanShell, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages.

• Develop scripts for identity lifecycle operations, data cleanup, and system integrations.

• Establish API-based automation for identity data exchange and workflow enhancement.

• Maintain version-controlled code repositories and adhere to secure development practices.

• Report to the Identity and Access Management Manager within HIS Identity and Access Management.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication skills, with the capability to clarify complex technical concepts.

• Ability to collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, HRIS, and application teams.

• SailPoint Engineer or Architect certification is preferred.

• Experience in engineering identity integrations with Cerner, Epic, or other EMR identity models is preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud identity governance across Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.

• Experience with Postman, API testing, and integration debugging is preferred.

• Background in supporting large-scale identity modernization initiatives is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field OR equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering or developing IGA solutions.

• Strong experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and/or IdentityIQ.

• Proven experience in writing SailPoint Rules using BeanShell/Java and constructing custom workflows.

• Proficient scripting experience with PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, or BeanShell.

• Experience engineering integrations using SCIM, REST APIs, SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC.

• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC/ABAC, SoD, and identity architecture.

• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, HRIS systems, and cloud identity platforms.

• Ability to work in a complex, unionized healthcare environment.
