Senior Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, installation, and integration of the Akamai Guardicore Segmentation platform within hybrid and intricate environments.

• Develop and implement network segmentation strategies across data centers, cloud infrastructures, and OT environments in accordance with Zero Trust principles.

• Manage client interactions involving architecture design, policy formulation, deployment, configuration, documentation, and executive alignment.

• Provide advanced consulting services, including custom solutions, training, and optimization of configurations.

• Offer architectural advice, design validation, and escalation support to partners while ensuring they maintain ownership of daily operations.

• Collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering, and Support teams to tackle complex challenges and secure long-term value for customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both written and spoken Spanish and English.

• Over 8 years of experience in Professional Services, consulting, or Security Architecture positions.

• Extensive understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP and Layer 7.

• Knowledgeable in firewalls and operating systems, including Linux and Windows.

• Practical experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise-level security or network software.

• Skilled in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.

• Familiar with configuration management tools like Ansible.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, including CNI, pod-level enforcement, and service mesh.

• Possession of active industry security certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or Zero Trust Architect credentials.
