Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assess the existing security measures impacting integrations, Oracle, custom applications, and external connections.

• Establish security requirements for APIs, messaging, file transfers, and service accounts.

• Define criteria for identity, access, authentication, authorization, and privileged access.

• Specify requirements for encryption, key management, and secret management.

• Outline logging, monitoring, alerting, and auditing requirements.

• Evaluate network boundaries and data flows to identify security risks.

• Determine the necessary controls prior to activating a connection.

• Provide security-related questions and scoring metrics for platform and supplier evaluation.

• Prioritize security risks and recommend actionable treatment strategies.

• Create a succinct review of security architecture along with a requirements document.

• Collaborate with Intelance's Chief Enterprise Architect, Lead Integration Architect, and Oracle Technical Architect.

• Engage in approximately 5 days of work over a span of 8 to 10 weeks, primarily remote with limited planned travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in security architecture.

• Recent substantial experience in designing security for APIs and enterprise integrations.

• Strong understanding of identity and access management, service accounts, secrets, encryption, API gateways, network segmentation, logging, and monitoring.

• Experience with both legacy systems and modern integration platforms.

• Capability to conduct threat modeling and convert risks into precise technical requirements.

• Ability to communicate security decisions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Located in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work there.

• Available for approximately 5 days within an 8 to 10 week timeframe.

• Familiarity with Oracle or ERP environments is advantageous.

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain sectors is beneficial.

• Knowledge of NCSC guidelines or ISO 27001 environments is a plus.

• Engagement is subject to contract, reference checks, and an IR35 status evaluation.
