This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Design, develop, deliver, and maintain comprehensive features and products that empower developers to enhance their revenue.
• Primarily concentrate on either the iOS or Android SDK, while also making occasional contributions to additional platform and hybrid SDKs.
• Gain insights into RevenueCat’s clientele, SDK, in-app subscription ecosystem, and product offerings.
• Open pull requests and implement changes utilized by over 32,000 applications.
• Engage in projects and launch initial features during the onboarding process.
• Review code and contribute positively to the engineering culture.
• Independently scope and manage project work.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and visibility initiatives to enhance codebase reliability and quality.
• Comprehend and refine the codebases maintained by the team.
• Become proficient in key features and spearhead initiatives to enhance code and infrastructure.
• Contribute to the team roadmap and technical strategy.
• Deliver significant products or features.
• Share innovative ideas for RevenueCat’s mobile subscription solutions.
• Define, design, and create new features.
• Establish expertise or ownership in at least one SDK technology area.
• Mentor and guide new engineers through the onboarding process.
• Assist in prioritizing the roadmap to maximize value for developers and progress the team and technology.
• Over 8 years of experience in software development.
• Proven track record of shipping mobile applications to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Extensive experience in Swift and SwiftUI (iOS) or Java/Kotlin and Compose UI (Android).
• Willingness to engage with iOS, Android, cross-platform, and hybrid platforms.
• Proficient in building mobile SDKs with a robust developer experience.
• Capability to deliver high-quality code employing effective testing practices in iterative cycles.
• Strong collaborative and communicative skills in a fully remote work culture.
• Proactive in addressing issues and proposing enhancements.
• Bonus: experience in SDK development.
