Senior Scrum Master – Merchant Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Assist engineering teams in reaching sprint objectives and delivery milestones.

• Collaborate with Product Owners on refining and prioritizing the backlog.

• Identify and eliminate obstacles hindering software delivery.

• Manage dependencies among various development and technology teams.

• Track sprint progress, delivery KPIs, risks, and timelines.

• Coordinate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Promote continuous improvement and advocate for Agile best practices.

• Enhance delivery efficiency and ensure successful software releases across Merchant Solutions and payment processing platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.

• Experience in banking, payments, or financial services.

• Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Capability to identify blockers and manage dependencies across teams.

• Experience in supporting Product Owners and managing the backlog.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery metrics and performance tracking.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication.

• Proficiency in professional English.

• Experience with Merchant Solutions, payment gateways, or acquiring platforms.

• Knowledge of card payments, transaction processing, and settlement systems.

• Experience with payment APIs and enterprise integrations.

• Scrum certifications (PSM, CSM, or equivalent).

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

• Knowledge of SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks.

• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

• Experience working with international, distributed engineering teams.
