Agile Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Guide and mentor an agile team within a scaled agile framework (SAFe).

• Facilitate team breakouts, PI Planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, demonstrations, and backlog refinement.

• Monitor and eliminate obstacles while ensuring coordination across teams.

• Maintain team performance metrics and identify opportunities for enhancement.

• Conduct capacity planning for iterations and increments.

• Collaborate with Scrum Masters to oversee dependencies and maintain consistency across teams.

• Act as a liaison with architects, cybersecurity subject matter experts, and stakeholders.

• Oversee product releases and manage dependencies with teams and external partners.

• Support the development of product roadmaps.

• Promote continuous improvement and foster high performance.

• Develop and refine processes to boost quality and productivity.

• Contribute to Agile communities of practice.

• Ensure adequate staffing for Epics and Features.

• Schedule and allocate tasks, offer guidance, and resolve issues.

• Guarantee product quality and timely delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with seven years of relevant experience.

• Certified Scrum Master or Certified SAFe Scrum Master with substantial experience in coaching Scrum teams.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• At least three (3) years of experience in leading teams utilizing an Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile approach.

• Knowledge of software development planning, development processes, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management.

• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic; self-motivated.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass an IT-1 background investigation.

• SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner, or other Scaled Agile Certification.

• Experience with continuous deployment models.

• Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and to contribute innovative ideas and principles.
