Senior Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead Scrum and Kanban teams through the processes of planning, delivery, and ongoing improvement.

• Facilitate roadmap, quarterly, and sprint planning activities across multiple teams.

• Establish new Agile teams, which includes Sprint 0 and developing team working agreements.

• Collaborate with Product Management to ensure alignment of the roadmap, backlog, and priorities.

• Guide teams comprised of internal staff and external delivery partners.

• Utilize Agile metrics to identify risks and trends, enhancing predictability.

• Evaluate team maturity and create tailored coaching plans.

• Address risks, dependencies, and obstacles among teams and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience with Agile principles, practices, and delivery frameworks.

• Proven experience in supporting multiple Scrum or Kanban teams simultaneously.

• Strong background in roadmap, quarterly, and sprint planning.

• Experience in establishing new teams and defining team norms.

• Experience leading teams that include both internal and external partners.

• Proficient in utilizing Agile metrics to enhance delivery predictability.

• Demonstrated coaching experience, including maturity assessment and growth strategy development.

• Ability to operate in environments where Agile and Waterfall methodologies coexist.

• Experience with Agile at scale (SAFe, Scrum at Scale, or similar) is a plus.

• Agile or delivery certifications are advantageous.

• Retail or in-store application experience is a nice-to-have.

• Experience in a PMO environment is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Agile work management and reporting tools.

• Experience with hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies.
