Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Mentor and guide an agile team within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Organize PI Planning team breakouts and establish PI objectives

• Oversee sprint planning, retrospectives, demonstrations, and Program Increment execution

• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions with Product Owners and Business Analysts

• Monitor and eliminate impediments while ensuring coordination across teams

• Maintain team metrics and pinpoint areas for improvement

• Conduct capacity planning for iterations and increments

• Collaborate with fellow Scrum Masters to manage dependencies and ensure consistency among teams

• Act as a liaison with architects, cybersecurity subject matter experts, and stakeholders

• Oversee product releases and manage dependencies between teams and external parties

• Assist in developing the product roadmap

• Promote continuous improvement and foster high-performing team development

• Enhance and refine processes to boost quality and productivity

• Contribute to Agile communities of practice

• Ensure adequate staffing for Epics and Features

• Schedule and assign work, offer guidance, and resolve issues

• Guarantee product quality and timely delivery

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with seven years of relevant experience

• Certified Scrum Master or Certified SAFe Scrum Master with extensive experience coaching Scrum teams

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• At least three (3) years of experience leading teams using an Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile methodology

• Familiarity with software development processes including planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management

• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic; self-starter

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to pass an IT-1 background investigation

• Preferred certifications include SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner, or other Scaled Agile Certification

• Experience with continuous deployment models is preferred

• Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute innovative ideas
