Senior IT Agile Project Manager – ServiceNow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for various simultaneous ServiceNow projects and initiatives.

• Create comprehensive project plans, delivery roadmaps, milestones, and implementation timelines.

• Facilitate sprint planning sessions, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Kanban delivery tasks.

• Coordinate with ServiceNow developers, architects, business analysts, QA professionals, platform administrators, stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams.

• Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, constraints, and decisions as necessary.

• Promote accountability for project commitments, milestones, action items, and deliverables.

• Oversee cross-functional dependencies involving ServiceNow integrations, enterprise applications, infrastructure, security, identity, data, and other platforms.

• Lead release planning, implementation readiness, testing coordination, change management, and production deployment efforts.

• Track project health and delivery performance through Agile and project management metrics.

• Deliver decision-focused reports to leadership and stakeholders.

• Create executive-level presentations, dashboards, governance materials, and project updates.

• Facilitate alignment and decision-making among stakeholders across competing priorities, scope, timelines, dependencies, and resources.

• Ensure that initiatives comply with technology governance, security, compliance, change management, and ServiceNow standards.

• Manage external vendors and implementation partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, technical program management, Agile delivery, Scrum Master, or similar roles in technology delivery.

• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from initiation to implementation.

• Direct experience supporting or delivering projects on the ServiceNow platform.

• Strong grasp of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid Agile and project management techniques.

• Experience handling multiple concurrent projects or workstreams with competing priorities, dependencies, and stakeholder requirements.

• Solid foundation in project planning, risk and issue management, dependency management, resource coordination, governance, and executive reporting.

• Experience collaborating with Product Owners, engineering and development teams, architects, business stakeholders, vendors, and technology leadership.

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or similar Agile and project management tools.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills across technical, business, and leadership audiences.

• Proven ability to convert complex technical delivery information into clear business and executive-level communications.

• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, Kanban, or other relevant project management or Agile certifications.
