Senior Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create project schedules and timelines.

• Monitor, evaluate, and report on project schedule details, including current status and anticipated adjustments to the schedule baseline.

• Ensure the precision of project schedules to meet deadlines and achieve timely completion.

• Coordinate project schedules, tasks, deliverables, updates, and effectively disseminate project data and reports.

• Assist team members in developing and revising project schedules.

• Provide support for planning and scheduling throughout all project phases, which include initiation, planning, design, right-of-way acquisition, construction, and closeout.

• Identify delays, impacts, and discrepancies from the baseline schedule, and communicate updates and strategies to the Project Manager and project team.

• Present reports on schedule progress during team meetings.

• Analyze schedule impacts and propose timely solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training.

• PE license is preferred.

• Over 10 years of scheduling experience, ideally in water/wastewater and heavy civil projects.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.

• Experience with CPM Scheduling.

• Conducting baseline and monthly schedule reviews.

• Expertise in critical path analysis.

• Capability to develop recovery schedules.

• Skills in time-impact and delay analysis.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in MS Office and construction management software such as Procore.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Must demonstrate proactivity and a personable nature with a strong aptitude for quick learning.

• Experience with public agencies or water districts is preferred.
