Senior SAP PM Consultant – Plant Maintenance / SAP SSAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Participate in the implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support of SAP PM and SSAM projects.

• Collect requirements and design processes for asset maintenance.

• Configure and implement SAP PM processes, which include preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and maintenance planning.

• Implement and improve solutions using SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM).

• Collaborate with WCM (Work Clearance Management), RSH (Resource Scheduling), and Dynamic Forms.

• Conduct fit-gap analyses, design solutions, and create functional specifications.

• Facilitate technical and functional workshops and meetings with clients.

• Develop functional documentation, test scenarios, evidence, and supporting materials.

• Assist and manage SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.

• Work alongside ABAP, integration, Basis, and other SAP module teams.

• Analyze and troubleshoot incidents and issues related to maintenance processes.

• Support integrations between SAP PM/SSAM and other solutions within the SAP ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as an SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Consultant.

• Demonstrated experience in SAP PM implementation or rollout projects.

• Strong understanding of Asset Maintenance / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes.

• Practical experience with SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) projects.

• Experience in integrating SAP PM processes with SSAM.

• Advanced knowledge of WCM (Work Clearance Management), RSH (Resource Scheduling), Dynamic Forms, and mobile maintenance processes.

• Familiarity with maintenance orders and notifications, operations, time and activity postings, and confirmations.

• Knowledge of equipment and functional location management.

• Understanding of online/offline operations and data synchronization.

• Knowledge of SAP PM processes within SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Experience with requirements gathering, Fit-to-Standard/Fit-Gap analysis, functional specifications, testing, and Go-Live support.

• Familiarity with the SAP Activate methodology.

• Ability to engage directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Excellent communication, autonomy, analytical skills, and a problem-solving mindset.

• Proficiency in English, including the ability to lead and actively contribute to meetings and workshops.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Current official SAP certification related to SAP S/4HANA Asset Management / SAP PM, or an applicable equivalent for the professional profile.

• Experience with SAP DMS (Document Management System) is a plus.

• SAP S/4HANA Asset Management certifications are advantageous.

• Official certification or training related to SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) is beneficial.

• SAP Certified Associate – SAP Activate Project Manager or comparable SAP Activate certification is a plus.

• Certifications related to SAP BTP, particularly in relation to SSAM architecture and integration, are advantageous.

• Certifications or proven knowledge in WCM, RSH, and SAP Mobile solutions are a plus.
