SAP FICO Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business and financial needs and convert them into SAP FICO solutions.

• Design, set up, and tailor SAP FI and CO features.

• Engage in or lead comprehensive SAP implementation and transformation projects, covering requirements gathering and blueprinting through testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.

• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and serve as a trusted SAP Finance advisor.

• Identify chances to enhance and standardize financial processes utilizing SAP solutions.

• Configure and facilitate SAP integration with other SAP modules and external systems.

• Draft functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on development and enhancements.

• Organize and support integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate SAP FICO functional and integration challenges.

• Assist with data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.

• Offer recommendations for process enhancements, system upgrades, and SAP best practices.

• Ensure that SAP solutions comply with relevant financial reporting requirements and standards, including GAAP and IFRS where applicable.

• Prepare and sustain project and solution documentation.

• Collaborate with international teams, clients, and both functional and technical SAP experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, ideally with 6+ years in SAP Finance and Controlling.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and CO functionalities and their integration with other SAP modules.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting, controlling, financial processes, and reporting.

• Practical experience with SAP implementation, transformation, or optimization projects.

• Expertise in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and production support.

• Strong grasp of end-to-end financial processes and the ability to convert business needs into SAP solutions.

• Experience directly interacting with business stakeholders and facilitating workshops.

• Solid understanding of SAP integration with modules such as MM and SD.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Capacity to work effectively in an international, project-driven environment.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or migration initiatives.

• Preferred SAP FICO / SAP Financials certification.

• Experience with global SAP rollouts and template implementations.

• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.

• Background in SAP finance transformation and process standardization.

• Experience with integration scenarios involving SAP MM, SD, CO, and other business processes.

• Experience in large-scale international consulting or technology settings.
