Senior SAP BusinessObjects Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain intricate SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and enterprise reporting solutions.

• Construct and enhance queries, calculations, variables, filters, prompts, and report-level logic within Web Intelligence.

• Create, maintain, and improve SAP BusinessObjects Universes and semantic layers.

• Convert business and reporting requirements into effective BI solutions.

• Analyze and resolve report, query, data, and performance-related issues.

• Optimize Web Intelligence reports and underlying queries for enhanced performance and scalability.

• Compose and refine complex SQL queries to facilitate reporting and data validation.

• Collaborate with relational databases, data warehouses, and various enterprise data sources.

• Conduct data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports.

• Assist with enhancements, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing SAP BusinessObjects solutions.

• Work in partnership with business users, Data Engineers, Architects, and other technical stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

• Adhere to BI development standards, documentation practices, and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects / Business Intelligence solutions.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI).

• Demonstrated experience in developing intricate enterprise reports, queries, calculations, variables, prompts, filters, and report logic.

• Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects Universes and semantic layers.

• Experience with Information Design Tool (IDT) and/or Universe Design Tool (UDT).

• Strong SQL proficiency and a solid understanding of relational databases.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data models.

• Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.

• Experience in enterprise BI environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Proficient in advanced English communication.

• Preferred: Experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x / 4.3 environments.

• Preferred: Experience with UNX and/or UNV Universes.

• Preferred: Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data integration concepts.

• Preferred: Experience with Crystal Reports, Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.
