Senior SAP BASIS/FICO Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and business stakeholders, including Key Users and Subject Matter Experts, to design and implement sustainable, optimized SAP FICO solutions.

• Identify, analyze, and recommend solutions for strategic initiatives.

• Assess alternatives and foster consensus to facilitate decision-making.

• Maintain precise and detailed documentation of solutions.

• Contribute to the development of FICO functional roadmaps and the overall FICO architecture strategy.

• Ensure the quality of business processes, functional and technical specifications, and solution deployment.

• Create and execute thorough test plans and scripts.

• Establish strong relationships with key business partners to gather requirements and design effective solutions.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and challenge business partners when necessary to guarantee optimal results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience delivering solutions in SAP Basis and SAP FICO modules.

• Proficiency in GL, AP, AR, Credit Management, Intercompany Sales, Fixed Assets, Manufacturing Accounting, Standard Cost, and COPA.

• Strong grasp of FICO principles and industry best practices.

• Practical experience in complex technical landscapes, particularly with SAP S/4HANA.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

• Proficient in advanced oral English.

• Native Spanish speaker.

• Industry certifications are advantageous.
