Senior SAP Basis Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support for SAP environments, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PO/PI, Fiori, and NetWeaver.

• Conduct maintenance tasks, such as kernel updates, application of Support Packages, upgrades, and system updates.

• Monitor the health, availability, performance, and background processing of SAP systems.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve incidents and service requests related to SAP Basis.

• Manage clients, users, printers, and other activities within the SAP environment.

• Assist with High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity efforts.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Networking, and Applications teams on various projects and support tasks.

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot replication scenarios utilizing SAP SLT.

• Optimize performance and address replication challenges in SLT environments.

• Aid in audits, compliance requirements, and security remediation for SAP environments.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and records of activities conducted.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP Basis administration.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture and SAP system administration.

• Practical experience with SAP SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation), focusing on replication configuration, monitoring, and support.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

• Experience in performing upgrades, migrations, Unicode conversions, and System Copy/Refresh tasks.

• Understanding of SAP Fiori, SAP Web Dispatcher, SAProuter, and SAP Gateway.

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Experience with SAP monitoring tools and incident management workflows.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with various departments and stakeholders.

• Language proficiency: Advanced English.
