SAP GTS Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and provide support for trade compliance and customs-related processes within SAP environments.

• Assist with SAP GTS, International Trade, and Foreign Trade processes.

• Address customs requirements and compliance processes for Morocco regarding imports and exports.

• Convert business and regulatory needs into scalable solutions within SAP.

• Collaborate with third-party systems, customs brokers, logistics service providers, and external trade compliance platforms.

• Align Morocco's customs requirements with the design, configuration, and integration needs of the SAP GTS / International Trade solution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of SAP consulting experience with substantial hands-on expertise in SAP GTS, International Trade, or Foreign Trade.

• Strong knowledge of import/export processes, customs declarations, customs valuation, tariff classification, origin management, and trade compliance.

• Proficient understanding of SD and MM integration points relevant to international trade, encompassing sales orders, deliveries, billing, purchase orders, inbound deliveries, and goods movements.

• Experience in implementing, rolling out, migrating, or supporting SAP S/4HANA International Trade and/or SAP Global Trade Services projects.

• Capability to translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

• Background in working with third-party systems, customs brokers, logistics service providers, and external trade compliance platforms.

• Excellent documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with Moroccan import/export documentation requirements, including commercial invoices, import commitments, customs declarations, HS code usage, buyer/supplier details, and supporting technical documentation.

• Awareness of customs processes in Morocco managed by the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes and digital customs clearance via BADR for import and export formalities.

• Understanding of Morocco-specific compliance areas such as customs valuation, tariff classification, origin documentation, duties and taxes, Verification of Conformity requirements, and port/customs clearance processes.

• Ability to evaluate Morocco customs requirements and align them with the SAP GTS / International Trade solution's design, configuration, and integration needs.
