This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +29 more states.
• Design, code, debug, test, document, and implement solutions using Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Develop customizations for applications and integrate third-party solutions.
• Analyze, design, and create system interfaces along with data integration services using Salesforce SOAP and REST APIs.
• Transform logical designs into program code utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, JavaScript, and Flows.
• Assess and test software packages, patches, and upgrades provided by vendors.
• Investigate application modules, comprehend business processes, and suggest improvements to processes.
• Collaborate with the Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator to guide modifications to the system.
• Act as a technical resource for junior developers.
• Provide escalation support for intricate trouble tickets.
• Formulate test plans with guidance from the Lead Developer.
• Execute unit and system testing, review defect logs, engage in code reviews, and modify programs as requirements evolve.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies utilizing Jira.
• Utilize Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create system design documents, technical reports, user manuals, and documentation for change control.
• Fulfill on-call support responsibilities as required.
• Implement system changes during occasional weekends or evenings.
• Must reside and work in one of the eligible states/territories: AK, AR, AZ, CO, FL, HI, IA, ID, IL, KS, LA, MD, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA/DC, WA, WI.
• U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.
• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a favorable interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with coursework in programming and database systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of overall application development and support experience.
• 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience in Salesforce Health Cloud development.
• Hands-on development experience within a Salesforce Government Cloud or Government Cloud Plus environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Technical experience with healthcare systems or systems related to government contracts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira.
• Preferred: 7+ years of general application development and support experience.
• Preferred: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Health Cloud development.
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
• Preferred certifications: Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, and/or Platform Developer II.
• Preferred hands-on experience with the Aura framework, OmniScript, and Einstein Analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills suited for both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• 100% remote position from an approved home workspace.
• Occasional weekend or evening work may be required for system changes deployment.
• On-call support duties as needed.
